The long title says the Act was passed to make provision for the grant of pension and retiring benefits to a retired President in pursuance of subsection (5) of section 27 of the Constitution of Sierra Leone, 1978 (Act No. 12 of 1978); and also to make provision for the grant of pension and other retiring benefits to retired Vice-Presidents and for other purposes incidental thereto.
Amends the Parliamentary Pensions Act, 1980 .
