About this Act

The Pharmacy and Drugs Act, 2001 is a law of Sierra Leone from 2001. It is cited as No. 12 of 2001. On Lanbuk it is kept with the health statutes.

The long title says the Act was passed to regulate the profession of pharmacy; to control the supply, manufacture, storage and transportation of drugs, including nutritional agents and cosmetics; and to provide for other matters related thereto.

Repeals the Pharmacy and Drugs Act, 1988, but Orders, Rules, Notices or Regulations under that Act remain in effect.
