About this Act
Medical Examiners Act, 2021 is a law of Sierra Leone from 2021. On Lanbuk it is kept with the health statutes.
The long title says the Act was passed to repeal and replace the Coroners Act, 1907 (Cap 9), to establish the Office of Medical Examiner; to provide for the appointment of the Chief Medical Examiner and other staff; to require the reporting of reportable deaths; to establish the procedures for investigation into and reporting of reportable deaths, matters related to public health or safety and the administration of justice and to provide for other related matters.
